Hay, the primary source of feed for cows in the winter. You feed hay to several different animals like: cows, horses, donkeys and goats year round but mainly in the winter, because they dont have green grass they can consume. In the summer when the fields are right you cut it down. Then you drive over it with a hay rake and line all the cut hay up in rows.
Next you get ready to bail the cut hay. You hook up the bailer and bale it. You drive over the rows of hay with the tractor and bailer and it balls up and is set on the ground for later use. Once you have bailed all the hay, you line it up in rows of hay bales this time. You should cover it up but most people dont, or you can put it in a barn out of the weather for the winter.
